Abstract

Parkinson’s disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disease characterized by several clinical findings including motor, psychiatric and cognitive dysfunctions. Many people with Parkinson’s disease suffer from speech disorders. Somatoform disorders have been recently described in the course of the disease. In this article, we present a 37-years-old female case with psychogenic speech disorder in Parkinson’s disease who was misdiagnosed and mistreated.
