Abstract

In daily medical practice, pharmacology-based treatments are available for almost all diseases. It is generally inevitable for patients to confront with polypharmacy due to their increasing pharmaceuticals in accordance with their increasing comorbidities. Cases of serotonin syndrome, which is caused by the incompatibility of some pharmaceutical groups with each other, are seen subclinically at substantial rates. In serotonin syndrome, which may be challenging to diagnose, satisfactory outcomes may be obtained with appropriate treatment.
