Abstract
Subdural hematoma is a rare cause of secondary parkinsonism. A patient who presented with parkinsonian symptoms on the left side following minor head trauma was found on computed tomography to have a right-sided subacute subdural hematoma compressing the lateral ventricle and causing a midline shift to the left. The patient underwent urgent surgical evacuation of the hematoma. Postoperatively, the neurological examination normalized without the need for antiparkinsonian medication, and the patient was discharged in stable condition.
