Abstract
Autoimmune diseases are a chronical heterogeneous disease group which develops through humoral or cell-mediated immune response against different tissues. Cerebellum is believed to be the target area in immunemediated diseases in the central nervous system. Therefore, ataxia may present as a finding of many autoimmune diseases. In this article, we discussed the diagnosis, clinical findings, and treatment approaches in autoimmune diseases such as gluten ataxia, connective tissue diseases, Miller Fisher syndrome, opsoclonus myoclonus syndrome, and paraneoplastic syndromes which present with ataxia.
