Abstract
Vascular parkinsonism is defined as an akinetic rigid syndrome due to cerebrovascular accidents. The etiology of the disease includes subcortical lesions involving basal ganglia and related pathways. Literature review revealed that perivascular spaces localized in these pathways as a rare cause of vascular parkinsonism. In this article, we present a case with early-onset vascular parkinsonism due to widened Virchow-Robin spaces.
