Abstract
Paroxysmal non-kinesigenic dyskinesia is characterized by sudden involuntary movement attacks precipitated by caffeine or alcohol intake, emotional stress or fatigue. Typically, paroxysms involve the whole body, lasting for about one hour at most. In this article, we present a-20-year-old male patient with idiopathic and sporadic paroxysmal non-kinesigenic dyskinesia who responded levetiracetam treatment well.
