Abstract

Huntington’s disease is a fatal neurodegenerative disorder characterized by autosomal dominant inheritance pattern, progressive dementia, involuntary movements and psychiatric symptoms. Currently, there is no effective treatment. In recent years, deep brain stimulation is a novel technique performed in the symptomatic treatment of Huntington’s disease. In this article, we present a 39-year-old female patient in the light of literature review.
