Abstract

Parkinson’s disease (PD) is characterized by motor, autonomic, and neuropsychiatric symptoms. Autonomic dysfunction is a frequent and particularly important non-motor feature due to the broad clinical spectrum it covers. Gastrointestinal symptoms can appear in the setting of PD. Due to the significant impact on the quality of life, appropriate diagnostics and therapy should be carried out at all stages of the disease.
